After Suicide Support Inc of Saskatoon is a non-profit organization responding to the needs of suicide survivors. They believe that suicide bereavement & trauma are closely linked & pay attention to the complicating & traumatizing factors that are part of many survivors experiences. Group therapy is used as their vehicle because suicide & trauma are often accompanied by impoverished social relationships & loss of autonomy. A therapy group acts as a temporary community that reduces the isolation.
