Suicide Postvention Programs for University Athletic Departments

This article presents a model suicide postvention program for university athletic departments. Using a modified seven-stage crisis intervention model, this article addresses issues of building trust with athletic departments, planning for team survivor meetings, the content of postvention programs, & the necessity of follow-up.
