This article describes the Peer Counseling Program of the Fort Worth (Texas) Police Department. A literature review & the philosophy of peer counselling are discussed. Information on the selection of team members & the mission of the peer counselling service is provided. Appendices include materials that are sent to applicants who apply for training as a peer counsellor. (20 refs.)
