This article discusses the fact that there were not only more sessions on rational & physician-assisted suicide at the 27th annual conference of the American Association of Suicidology, but there was also a more open acknowledgement of the ubiquity & possibility of rational suicide. Two presentations, one by Dr. Timothy Quill & the other by Dr. Yeates Conwell, are reviewed.
