This editorial discusses the increasing rate of homicide-suicide, especially among older couples worried about their failing health. Characteristics of these deaths are reviewed, e.g. in a review of 34 Florida newspaper stories about suspected murder-suicides or double suicides, when married couples were involved, 98% of the time the husband was the perpetrator.
