In the first part of this article, Wolfelt stated that there are 4 major influences that impact adolescents who experience the death of someone in their lives. He discussed the first of these – concurrent developmental tasks (see SIEC #950947). In this second part, Wolfelt discusses the last 3 influences: the nature of the death, unique environmental conditions & the potential for relationship conflicts. The consequences of postponed mourning are also reviewed.
