Emotional, Behavioral, and HIV Risks Associated With Sexual Abuse Among Adult Homosexual and Bisexual men

Data in this article suggests that sexual abuse may have wide-ranging influence on quality of life & health risk behavior of homosexual men. Associated effects include mental health issues, substance abuse, depression, suicidal thoughts oractions, social support & sexual identity issues. HIV risk behavior & risk of sexually transmitted diseases were also issues. Increased awareness of potential outcomes of male sexual abuse is necessary in order to provide medical & psychological assistance.
