This manual is written for crisis workers to help them understand what is it like to have a disability. 60.6% of the women who were surveyed in this study thought about suicide; 45% attempted. The first section of this book presents interviews with 10 women who talk about their suicidal thoughts & attempts. The next section discusses the needs of disabled women & how counsellors can help. The third section gives an overview of different disabilities. Appendix B discusses current suicide issues.
