This research was conducted to determine: 1) levels of psychosocial functioning of Westlock adolescents; 2) problems facing these adolescents; & 3) the types of services that are needed to better serve this population. 268 students participated. Results indicate that this group of students had less favourable psychological profiles reporting an average of 28 symptoms each. 10.4% of the male respondents reported having thoughts of suicide compared to 19.5% of female respondents.
