In January 1995, “DeathNET,” a World Wide Web site specializing in end-of-life issues, came online on the Internet. Jointly created by J. Hofses (Right to Die Society of Canada & D. Humphry (National Hemlock Society in the USA), it promotes debate & provides up-to-date information on court cases & legislation. This article provides the WEB address; outlines information available; & discusses an incorrect media story concerning the DeathNET, & Canadian political attitudes on end-of-life issues.
