This book parallels the experience of working with adolescents from initial contact through follow-up. Chapter 1 provides an introduction to working with suicidal adolescents from a clinical perspective. Chapters 3 through 6 focus on the first phases of contact, including the assessment of suicidality. Chapters 7 through 13 present various approaches to treatment such as psychodynamic & cognitive-behavioural therapies. The final chapter provides a summary of the volume.
