El Suicidio: Prevalencia y Caracteristicas en la Ciudad Debuenos Aires Durante el ano 1991. Consideraciones Medico-Legales

This Spanish-language manuscript describes the incidence of suicide in Buenos Aires during 1991. The rate of suicide for males was 16.50 per 100,000 population; for females the rate was 6.86 per 100,000. 123 of the 333 suicides occurred in March, April & May. The greatest percentage of male suicides occurred in the 56-60 age group; in females, the greatest percentage was in the age groups from 61-75. 64.86% of victims committed suicide either by use of firearms or by jumping.
