In the first part of this presentation, Richman presents 7 of the most prominent areas of misunderstanding about suicide in the elderly. The latter part of the presentation discusses an approach to treatment which Richman has based upon the research of others & his own 25 years of experience. This treatment is a comprehensive integration of psychological, social, family & biological factors & is founded upon the need for an affirmation of life.
