The Baton Rouge Crisis Intervention Center, Inc. has a contract with the Louisiana State Office of Mental Health to provide after-hours services to Mental Health Center clients in 4 regions of the state. This presentation describes these services & the training that counsellors receive. Statistical information based directly on calls received by the Center during 1991 is also presented.
