4 grief & bereavement instruments were directly compared by administering them to 116 selected college students (N=13 suicide survivors, 27 accidental death survivors & 76 natural death survivors). The instruments were the Texas Revised Inventory of Grief, Grief Experience Inventory, Grief Experience Questionnaire & Hogan Grief Reactions Checklist. It was generally found that the instruments were predictive of one another. Many similarities were revealed between the different bereavement groups.
