This pamphlet provides general guidelines for teachers in assisting students who have given some indication that they are depressed or suicidal. Signs of being “at risk” may include: previous suicide attempts, talk of suicide, signs of depression, self-destructive behaviour, preoccupation with themes of death, death or loss of a loved one, dramatic changes in behaviour, &, school problems. The pamphlet also provides a list of Community Resources in Fort McMurray for referral.
