A review was done of all English-language studies (14 foreign & 17 American) on campus student suicides. Studies which met project criteria were analyzed & organized into single-site studies. Only 4 single-site studies had a higher suicide rate than comparable populations. Methodological deficiencies in previous multiple-site studies may place in doubt suggestions that the US campus student suicide rate since 1960 is significantly less than in matched control populations.
