This editorial looks at physician-assisted suicide by reviewing two cases of individuals with terminal illnesses. The author argues in favour of physician-assisted suicide and provides guidelines which physicians can address to ensure that PAS is never employed prematurely and also that as few patients as possible actually choose it as an option.
