Fostering Resiliency in Kids: Protective Factors in the Family, School, and Community

The paper reviews protective factor research phenomenon and the major protective factors that research has identified as contributing to the development of resiliency in youth (i.e. profiles of the resilient child, protective factors within the family, the school, and the community) and the implications of this for building effective prevention programs.
