The Interregional Expert Meeting on Guidelines for the Formulation and Implementation of Comprehensive National Strategies for the Prevention of Suicidal Behaviours and the Provision of Supportive and Rehabilitative Services to Persons at Risk and to other Affected Persons was held in May 1993. The objective was to develop guidelines for formulating and implementing effective strategies for the prevention of suicide and suicidal behaviours.
