As part of the March 1993 National Suicide Prevention Workshop, Tom Erasmus discussed the need for comunity development to focus on the overall picture – in the context of assessment of Native people in northern Alberta. Erasmus linked community development to the development of a strong vision of the future. Also, that the community healing process must include: mental, emotional, spiritual & physical dimensions of wellness.
