The NAIN youth conference dealt with suicide and other social issues (i.e. alcohol and drug use) affecting the Inuit youth of Labrador. The goals of the conference were: discussion, developing a crisis team or plan, youth involvement in communities, public education on youth suicide, improving youth-adult communication and studying the proceeding records for training and learning purposes.
