This article describes a psychotherapy program for post-traumatic stress disorder. The program described is unique because it is only a 12-session once-a-week, outpatient treatment comprising 50-minute sessions. The aim is to help the patient who has been derailed from a normal psychological recovery process to return to an adaptive working through during and after the brief psychotherapy.
