This chapter is based on a perspective stemming from classic Judeo-Christian convictions regarding the value of human life as delineated in the holy scriptures. The author focuses on the role of pastoral care in caring for human life and provides a series of steps which should be implemented when dealing with suicide. (7 refs.)
