This chapter reviews Christian ethical considerations which pertain to suicide. The author starts by postulating philosophical questions regarding existence. The author proceeds by reviewing definitions of life and suicide. After this introduction the author looks at how suicide interacts with: morality, human suffering, human dignity, and love. Finally, suicide and responsibility, are dealt with, emphasizing the role of: Christians, church and state.
