This book review notes the book was written after the author faced the horror of her only son’s death by suicide. The first part is deeply personal & emotional. The second part focuses on how she overcame some of the emotional obstacles. While it is not considered an absolute handbook to surviving the devasting trauma of a loss to suicide, it could provide persons in mourning with a framework for the rebuilding of their lives. More importantly, it shows that parents of suicides are not alone.
