The purpose of this paper is to investigate the psychometric properties of the Euthanasia Attitude Scale as a dichotomously score rating scale. Viewing the EAS as a Likert scale enables the use of internal consistency procedures for reliability and item analysis & allows for factor analytic investigations of the scale’s underlying structure. Additionally, the construct validity of the EAS is explored.
