This Editorial concludes that physician-assisted suicide is not as different from voluntary active euthanasia as suggested in an earlier article (see SIEC AN 920941). In both cases, the patient retains the final choice; & this, ultimately, is the most important issue. Key points & arguments of the earlier article are examined & discussed.
