The paper describes a model which assesses the suicidality of borderline patients. It focuses on the borderline psychopathology, co-existence with other psychiatric disorders, & the suicide perspective which includes objectifying suicidal intent & behaviour, Shneidman’s commonalities of suicide and psychodynamic formulation.
