This panel examined the contextual & familial issues influencing suicidal behaviour among Hispanic adolescent females living in the inner city. The approach taken was to move from the general to the particular, from sociocultural & acculturational issues through intergenerational family factors to specific dynamics of mother/daughter relationships and treatment techniques.
