The Suicide Trajectory Model includes 4 major categories of risk factors that contribute to suicide: biological, psychological, cognitive, & environmental. These proceedings discuss the model in relation to research findings & theory concerning suicide across the lifespan. In particular, the authors present commonalities in the Suicide Trajectory Model which occur in all age groups as well as differences among 3 age levels: adolescence, middle adulthood, & old age.
