The authors present two cases of acute isoniazid poisoning in patients who ingested the drug with the intention of committing suicide. Both were admitted unconscious, with ventilatory insufficiency & convulsions. Hepatic dysfunction & peripheral neuropathy were notable complications. (7 refs.)
