Child and Youth Suicide Intervention Protocols for Langley

This protocol was developed by the Langley Child & Youth Committee to increase the appropriate responsiveness of child/youth caregivers. Contents include: 1) self-assessment tool for attitudes toward suicide; 2) guidelines for talking with adolescents; 3) a 10-point prevention plan; 4) myths & facts about suicide; 5) adolescent suicide fact sheet; & 6) assessment of suicide risk & procedures for intervention. An appendix contains the suicide intervention protocols of 10 local agencies.
