This article describes Distress Line Sarnia in Sarnia, Ontario. This centre offers two unique programs, in addition to the usual services: 1) Tel-Check, a daily call out program for elderly & disabled people which provides both a security check & a befriending service; & 2) the Farm Help Line, a crisis line geared specifically to the concerns of the farming community.
