Lester argues that very little is being done at the present time to improve suicide prevention. He asks whether people interested in suicide prevention should simply join advocacy groups involved in other social & individual problems (such as child abuse) & abandon so narrow a goal as suicide prevention, or if they should explore more energetically what specifically can be done to prevent suicide.
