Interview Questionnaire – Appendix A (IN: Death and Violence on the Reservation. Homicide, Family Violence, and Suicide in American Indian Populations, by R Bachman)

This appendix reproduces the interview questionnaire used by the author in the course of her research. The questionnaire was administered to 30 homicide offenders at 3 midwestern state prisons. Questions were asked about the informant’s background, crime in America & violence in general, attitudes toward violence, the crime the informant had been convicted of, social activities & physical well-being. Questions about suicide & suicidal ideation were asked in the section on physical well-being.
