This publication is the result of a 1983 recommendation that guidelines be developed to outline the essential components of a service for elderly people identified as clients or potential clients of mental health services. Guidelines are provided for the assessment process, management & treatment options, coordination of services & resources, & volunteers & voluntary agencies.
