The development & presentation of a high school death education unit within an elective psychology class is discussed. The death unit curriculum is examined, unit strengths are analyzed, & sample evaluations of students, presenters, school board members, parents & other members of the community are presented. The conclusion reached is that this unit, although not inclusive of all death-related topics, serves as a valuable tool for students as they experience any type of loss that causes grief.
