The authors describe a bereavement group formed in response to requests from parents who had read about such groups in the local newspaper. These parents wanted a group in which they could work through & understand their feelings about a family member (usually a child) who had completed suicide. The authors found that there were 4 family reactions that seemed to be consistently expressed within the group. They planned to elaborate on these in a later paper.
