This letter to the editor criticizes a study by Gross-Isseroff et al. which reported reduced binding of tritiated prazosin in brain sections of suicide victims. The author of the letter criticizes the procedures used in the study, as well as the possibility that many variables, such as the effect of antidepressants, were left unexplored. (VM)
