This article summarizes a review of the studies on suicide survivors. The author describes the emotions that those bereaved by suicide usually experience, such as shock, disbelief, sadness, guilt & anger. They often feel unable to discuss the suicide due to stigma. The author also discusses suicide rates among the bereaved, but admits little research has been completed in this area. (VM)
