Since some teenage suicides are alcohol-related & alcoholism itself may be considered a form of chronic suicide, both issues are addressed by the author. In the first section of the article, Dr. Caine examines the etiology & treatment of teenage suicide; the latter section explores adolescent alcoholism. A selected bibliography on each subject has been included at the end of the article.
