Krakowski M I~~Convit A~~Volavka J
This study placed violent patients in a ward for management of violent behavior. Patients who continued to be assaultive after transfer were compared to patients who refrained from assault & nonviolent controls. The patients who continued to be assaultive showed higher neurological impairment, deviant early family environment, & disturbed behavior which included suicide attempts & drug abuse (Family history & neurological exams are included).
