This study examines the relationship between depression, social skills & suicidal behavior in 41 adolescents hospitalized following a suicide attempt & 40 nonsuicidal psychiatrically hospitalized adolescents. No differences were found between the 2 groups on the self-report of social skills or depression. The results provide support for the relationship between social skills & depression. (VM)
