This article provides the reaction of a pregnant nurse to a pregnant woman who attempted suicide by overdosing on drugs. The nurse originally felt anger that the patient would dare to be so selfish, but then she remembered her own moments of despair & depression. She realized she was being judgemental & not helping & caring for her patient. She thinks of this whenever she has a difficult case. (VM)
