This article provides a personal case history of a nurse. She had an alcoholic father who died when she was 11. Eventually, she became a nurse & worked in the newborn ICU. She became obsessed with her job. She became very depressed, was unable to function on the job, & had suicidal thoughts. She was referred to Christian counselling, & through this she strengthened her faith, & accepted her limitations. (VM)
