This article is a review of the book, Why Women Kill Themselves. The author summarizes some chapters from the book, & notes some of the important questions addressed, such as the connection between quickly changing women’s roles & the suicide rate, motivations for suicide, the role of suppression/discrimination, & the difference in women’s and men’s suicide notes.
