Abstract
Aggressive Children in a Day Treatment Program: Changed Outcome and Possible Explanations
Gabel S~~Swanson A J~~Shindledecker R
This study follows an earlier study (Gabel, Finn & Ahmad, 1988) on severely disturbed children treated in a day hospital program. The authors of this study examined a similar group of children. The youngsters were often from dysfunctional & abusive families. The outcome for aggressive children, including aggresssive children with histories of suspected child abuse/maltreatment, was significantly improved. Possible resons for this improvement are discussed. (VM)
