This study analyzes the environmental factors surrounding suicide attempts by a group of children & adolescents, as well as their adjustment 10 to 15 years later. The author found that the environment which children who commit suicidal act generally live in is a strain to them & often involves disturbed relations with adults, particularly with parents. As well, he found that children who make suicide attempts have higher mortality rates later in life. (VM)
