This study examines the relationship between murderers & homicide victims, & between murderers & suicide victims in Portugal. Correlations were found between age group, marital status & occupation of murderers & homicide victims. Murderers & suicide victims were only correlated by occupation. The authors assert the correlation between murderers & suicide victims can be explained by alcoholism, which is more common in specific occupations, & leads to increased aggression & depression. (VM)
